Moments Of Inspiration: Interview Session with Tito Madu , Owner Of T.alamodemakeup

Join us in this series as we interview a very wonderful lady, Pro MUA, one who inspires you by making you feel beautiful, a determined and very creative lady. Read her words below.

Can we know you?

I am Tito Madu, 25 years old, 3rd child out of 5 children. I am from IMO state and the Owner of T.alamodemakeup.

How long have you been doing make up and how did you get started?

I have been doing makeup since 2011 which is 4 years now and I started from doing a lot of makeup on myself, which got Soo much good comment before I started on others and proceeded to take it seriously on a professional level.

Why did you choose this profession, what inspired your decision?

I chose this profession because it's what I absolutely love doing and be aura I was passionate about it .

Tell us about your experience as a makeup artist?

My experience has been good so far, I can't say I have had bad experiences but I can admit it has been challenging too. It's a business people don't think too much of before getting in. It is expensive for starters because of all the high end products we have to purchase and having to keep up with trend. But it's a business that gets better as you grow.

As a creative person, what are some other creative things you like to do?

Makeup is art and with art creativity is paramount. I love to try edgy looks sometimes, that's looks that Nigerians don't like but would get you on the global market.

What is your top beauty tip? It can be anything.

My top beauty tip is that lovely makeup always starts with good skin, so always take care of your skin.

What favorite word keeps inspiring you till date?

That would be from Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What word do you have to advice people out there pursuing same goal but are finding it difficult?

Follow your dreams, as long as your driven by passion you would get there and take your time and master your art, allow yourself to grow, it would make you a stronger person in your field.

Thank you.
