Prepare Your Mind
Nobody needs to tell you.
I remember waking up today with so much excitement feeling, like I got everything I needed and even more.
I stepped out feeling really neat and my clothes well straightened, it is Monday and there should be a lot of excitement in the air. I walked down the street and I boarded a vehicle headed to work.
The weather was so beautiful just before I left home, it just felt like that kind of day where you would want to sit in the sun and just admire how beautiful nature looks.
Approaching my destination, I observed that there was a switch in the weather. Now, this I did not expect, before I could even get down, there was a heavy rain pour, first thing that came to mind was, Oh! My shirt but then I instantly remembered I was prepared as I had my umbrella in my bag and while everyone kept wondering how I was going to get down from the vehicle because they did not see me hold anything that could help shield me from the rain, a few suggested giving me something to cover my hair and a few apologised ahead of time for how wet I was going to get but while all of these where going on, I got out my umbrella and smiled while I greeted them to have a nice day.
Now this story right here speaks about always being prepared. They are times that what you least expect happens, what do you do? I personally wanted the weather to stay all beautiful but when the storm came, I was also prepared.
How well have you prepared your mind for times when it feels like things are going from good to bad, when there is a switch in time and season what have you fed your mind with that will prepare you for that storm when it comes or will you be ready to just take in empathy from people who are willing to give it?
“The preparation you make today determines the outcome you get when the road get rough”.
“Train your mind to work for you and just when you need it, it will show”.
How then do you train your mind? The number one way to keep your mind always prepared is by telling it the right words (positive affirmations). What right word have you fed your mind with today? Have you reminded yourself how successful you will be this week? How productive today will be?

Because really and truly, NOBODY NEEDS TO TELL YOU, even though I just did.
