MONDAY INSPIRATION: RISKING IT ALL

Hello Lovelies!! *in Uju's voice* lol. Actually she's super busy this morning so i decided to post on her behalf even though i might be dead after this, lol! but who cares, right?! as far as i get to touch someone's life today

I came across this quote and it got me thinking “SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO RISK IT ALL FOR A DREAM ONLY YOU CAN SEE”. This is actually a quote we can relate to as if you check when you were young you had dreams like wanting to be the best gymnast, photographer, singer and so on but  along the line we were swayed off by our environment, parents, friends and even ourselves.

But I want to tell you today that its not late to dust off that dream no matter how silly it may sound and start working towards it. You owe yourself that happiness and you owe the world that impact.

I know it will be really hard but it’s not impossible, I know you will be discouraged by your friends, your family and even your loved ones like your partner but sometimes you have to risk it all for a dream only you can see and I promise you, you won’t regret the decision. Funny enough, when you start thriving in that dream, the same people that discouraged and laughed at you will start singing your praises and identifying with you, lol! I know right! That’s life for you

I want to charge you today, what is that thing you have always wanted to do which sounds ridiculous and everyone you told laughed at you or talked you out of it so you stopped sharing it with people and you even stopped dreaming it, Its high time you ignore all those discouragement and encourage yourself because if you can dream it, you can accomplish it.

Please share your dreams and what you are doing about making it a reality in the comment box below

Have a wonderful week and remain blessed, Cheers!!

  1. When I was growing up, I watched this film ''Terminator'', with Arnold Swarzenneggar ( I know I have murdered the spelling), the way he was shooting at bad guys and killing them in the film really got me excited and one day, I told my mum out of that excitement that I wanted to be an actor.... The way my mum looked at me then (up till now I can't forget that look), nobody told me to go carry my books and solved my assignment questions.

The second time I said I wanted to be a musician after watching Michael Jackson's video collections.. My teacher then asked me to sing in from of the class, I can't remember if I sang or I hummed, or I shouted while singing, but what I can remember is, after the song, my teacher said go and be a lawyer or any other profession but not a musician . I ended up reading Political Science.

    1. Believing is the only way to success. Even when nothing seems like it, just believe. Thanks dear

  4. Uju, your personal boo and assistant editor spoke the truth! :-)

We need to bear in mind who the dream/calling belongs to. Once we get a go ahead from God we sould be confident enough to ignore nay-sayers and go on and conquer. Easier said than done though. (But that's no excuse)
I hope you're coping well with your hectic schedule!

    1. Thanks dear, very true. I m coping though my blog is suffering but God is in control. The work will be over by tomorrow. We are planning an event at my company, so it's been hectic. But we thank God.

  5. I like this post and you know that there is insight being revealed.

Yes, sometimes we need to take a risk and make a difference. We might be mocked or even ridiculed but if we stick to our dreams, we will achieve it. The only issue is staying your ground during the hard times.

    Thanks for sharing.
